When our playing style evolves, I save a lot of money to buy this set before. This is my first Lego Robot set and the price was also expensive that time. This is the most baddest models I have before and a great threat to my Lego protagonist on our play. This Robot roam around with his six wheels, Even this robot seems doesn't have the ability to jump or even fly, it is compensated by its fire power. On the waist part of the robot has a room for laser guns, both of its arms were armed by twin laser guns mounted on its wrist and another tube was attached on its head that can act as a flame thrower in my play. This robot has several compartments to keep small accessories and its arms were claws that can pick light pieces of bricks or a Minifigure.

The Spyrius Astronaut minifigure has the same uniform with my Saucer Scout Set and armed with one laser gun and a printed 1x2 tile brick that act as the remote control of the Recon Robot

Pros:
Overall this model was just the best. I had so many hours fun with it and im sure others did too. The instructions were simple, it’s aesthetics and playability are through the roof for being as old as it is. Places to put things and lots of flexibility you just couldn’t go wrong. If you like space this is a must and for anyone who like top quality models this ones for you. A must have.

Cons:
It is much better if they replace the Astronaut Minifigure with the Spyrius Robot Minifigure.

Islander Catamaran #6256

I really love Islander theme, they are the foundation why I collect lego. I always want to collect all islander theme but as a child that time, I don't have enough cash to buy these sets. Actually, I only had Forbidden Cove and King Kahuka's Throne but when I saw a fake Islander Catamaran on our local stores, I bought the last two pieces of it and take care of it as it was original. This set includes King Kahuka and an islander girl. The catamaran is made by two boat join side by side with two lego parrot Minifigure. Even the quality of this fake islander catamaran is poor, The set has all the exact pieces as the original.

Pros:
This is the only cheapest set to get a female islander.
Two parrots minifigure was also nice to had

Cons:
Too much King Kahuka, King Kahuka is almost in every Islander Set. THey should replace King Kahuka with standard male or another female islander on this set

This is a great set for building an army of lego knights. If I could turn back time then Ill but more of this set. The knight was wearing a pearl sliver basic knight helmet and has a silver spear. The rack was also good for keeping his extra Jousting helmet and armor, his crown shield and a sword. A impulse set with a lots of good accesories which is a must have for every medieval warfare fantasy.

Pros:
an impluse set with several weapons and gears.
The knight was awesome, his face was so cool showing no emotions. a great face for army of knights

Cons:
for me, i cant say anything that lack on this set. The only downfall of this set is the stocks. I havent seen this set last on the stores for one week and they didnt re-supply again.

As soon as Ive got the Saucer Scout, my brother purchase this set to counter my set. This set is also a flying saucer with two booster on its sides. the minifigure included on this set is the leader of the exploriens armed with a unique space gun with scope.

This is one of the most amazing spaceship I had in my lego arsenal, despite its size. The ship has a tight cockpit, plus an actual seat unlike most ships. The ship is not over armed and has just enough firepower to be a threat on its top. Though the panel out side seems like a computer, it also looks cool as a front cover, rather than having all four ends exactly the same, taking away from the design and the playability, since you can't build much else without the computer. Also, the computer can serve as a security system, allowing the pilot in, or as a dataport for the found (stolen) information. But what makes this a great scout is that the four dual boosters make this ship beyond agile, since the thrusters make for movement in all eight standard directions as well as allowing the ship to turn on less than a dime, since if two thrusters fire in opposite directions the ship rotates

Pros:
-Very well designed.
-A good source of red inverse slopes and jet engines.
-Weapon can be used by minifig
-No controls? No problem. Note the funky headband on the minifig's head. It suggests direct brain-control.

Cons:
-Is there any point to having the monitor outside the cockpit? itd be pretty hard to see from a reclining position.
-Not enough pieces, i could easily imagine this in a bag set or as part of a combination pack.

This set is the ancestor of the kingdom's dragon knight. The set inlcudes one dragon master knight equipped with a sword, his cart was is armed to the teeth with crossbow, shield and spear.

a good vintage dragon master knight with so many accesories. a good pick for those person who want to go for war with small amount of money

Cons:
The only complain i have on this set is it is much better if they include a armor to these knight that time

Shark Scout #6115

This cool underwater scooter was another great impulse set carefully chosen by my brother. It has the usual Aquazone transparent orange fan and helmet holding two harpoons. The front of the scooter has a printed Aquashark emblem which is very nice since it is not a sticker. The scooter itself is all black with a touch of blue color scheme. It looks sleek, quick and maneuverable which is a must is this type of vehicle.

The mini fig is nice with an awesome looking face. The Helmet is black with a red shield. He has the two harpoons which can also be but into the front of the vehicle as defense or to be fired.

Pros:
In my collection, this set is the only one that has harpoon weapon.

Cons:
You need to buy couple of this set to see how great this set can be. I only have one so i didnt see the good side having this set aside from having the harpoon accessories

As soon as I bought a female minifig that has her won speed boat to join my pirate versus islander play, I want some one who will save her from the Pirates or from the Islander. That is the reason why I bought this set. This set is a great and versitile since it include a beach vehicle and a sailing board which he can use in confronting the pirates and islanders on the sea or sand. The Beach vehicle is also good due to its spring suspenders where i found unique on most of lego vehicle sets.

Pros:
It include a surfboard which is really cool
The surfboard can be pack up on the beach vehicle

Cons:
The surfboard sail flag needs to dismantle so it can be packed up on the vehicle.

Paradisa Speedboat #1761

There is only one reason why I bought this set on the mall and that reason is I want to have a female Minifigure who will act as a damsel in distress in my play. The Paradisa Speedboat was the perfect set for me that time since she also have a sea vehicle that can go head to head with my rafts, and boats of pirates and islanders.

The female minifigure has a pink shirt and white pant which is perfect for a damsel in distress role

Skeleton Crew #6232

I remember wanting this set as a kid for the skeleton as I didn’t have one at the time.

The cave is made up of several gray bricks and from top of it was a leaf clipped into both points. In this set, instead of having a treasure chest, the Lego gold coins were stored on a barrel.

The pirate in this set has more of a newish look and can be seen rarely unlike those previous pirates on smalls impluse sets that lego has.

The skeleton is an old style skeleton with loose arms that rotate 360 degrees. The skeleton is equipped with a Conquistador hat. I really liked him and had alot of hours fun using him in other play until I got more skeletons.

Pros:
A skeleton was very impressive.
The Pirate included in this set was really rare

Cons:
It is much better to have a treasure chest instead of a barrel for keeping the Lego gold coins safe.

I saw this set from Robinson's Galleria in Manila when I was go shopping with my auntie. Before, I always want to have Captain Roger but I dont have enough cash that time to buy the set in which he is included. as an alternative solution, Captain Iron hook turn to be my pirate captain everytime I was playing Lego. Being the captain of pirates without epaulette was not nice so I set my mind buying a set which epaulette is included. The time I saw this set, I didnt hesitate to buy it. This set has two minifigure, A pirate and an Imperial Guard. The set has includes one treasure box that has four coins inside.

Pros:

Cons:

The Ship Wreaked Pirate Set was almost identical to Renegade's Raft but I can say that Renegades Raft is much better in terms of quantity and accesories. The Pirate included here was the standard pirate with a cutlass. I was thinking to buy another Renegade's Raft until I saw this set. It is much cheaper and great for building army of pirates.

Renegade's Raft #6234

Having King Kahuka's Throne and Forbidden Cove on my arsenal, I want to expand my Islander's adversaries. I bought this small set due to its accessories and completeness. The Renegades Raft Includes flintlock and Cutlass which can be use by the Pirate minifigure included on the set. one good thing about this set is Lego include a shark minifigure which is very nice for a small set. The pirate can sail its way to any island independently using the raft model. He can also have one to two companion that can hop on the raft if we add more pirate minifigures that I can get from other small Lego Pirate sets.

Pros:
The set is very sturdy, The pirate can put his accessories in the raft's clip brick.

This set has a two minifigure. The plane includes propeller on back of its wings and a cool joystick on the pilot's control panel. It is a very simple model and anyone can build it without looking on the instructions.

I use to buy this set because i need a number of bricks for a small price. One good thing about this set is it also include 2 two by two yellow bricks with printed eyes on both sides which is added on my collection. Thanks to this set, me and my brother can create a many robots. This set doesnt have any minifigures but has an alternative bricks that act as a minifigure.

My brother recieve this set the time I got my Forbidden Cove, this was a gift for us by my Nanay and Tatay from USA. This is such an amazingly cool set. it is compact, but small and beefy. This set is the throne of the Islander's king named King Kahuka. Behind the throne is a treasure chest with four pieces of lego coin. King kahuka has two islander warriors who act as his guard against the two pirates who they encounter on the set

My Nanay and Tatay send a balikbayan box for us which contain a large boxes of Lego for me and to my brother. It is a Islanders theme Lego; Forbidden Cove #6264 for me and King Kahuka’s Throne #6262 for my brother as our Christmas gift for the year 1994. These sets are great and it has a well detailed structure in which my old Lego tote bag couldn’t match. I was totally full of enthusiasm when i received the Forbidden Cove Set way back before. This set has several well detailed pieces which i saw for the very first time. It consist of four minifigs, a two boat and a coconut tree. It has a loads of accessories such as swords, pistol, flintlock, spear, bow, quiver etc. This set also include a molded red parrot and a crocodile minifig.

One simple but awesome function of this set is the wall with that stone face moves to reveal a tunnel leading to my brother's King Kahuka’s Throne.

I was really envy at my brother's first lego set because that time, he has a two 2 by 2 yellow bricks having printed eyes that he can use to form two robots and a one 4 by 12 green bricks he can use as a docking platform or spaceship base of his robots. As I search from the Giftgate for those piece, I saw this set and decided to grab it. This set actually has all of the elements I want on my brother's first lego set. The bricks with printed eyes, the green brick and the big windows and doors. This set also include two big flowers which is new to my brick collection that time.

Pros:
-The set has three printed bricks that can form a big smiley face

This is my brother's first Lego set. The basic +3 #1676 is consist of several normal bricks with one window and one door. The special thing in this set was the two 2 by 2 blocks with printed eyes on its sides and the 2 by 4 blocks with printed lips on both sides. If you put together these three piece, you can create a one big smiley yellow face which can be use in creating a robot or animals.

After having my Lego Basic +5 Tote Bag #535. I request my Nanay to buy me another Lego set. One good thing about Lego is everytime you buy a new set, you can combine them on your old set to create a new structure, vehicle or anything you imagine. This small impulse set doesnt have any minifigures but you can build a good vehicle or even a plane. Also, In this small set I discovered one two stud bricks with a printed face. This small piece of brick gave me the idea to create robots using Lego bricks when i was young in which I decided and start to love Lego.

This is my first Lego wayback 1990 =p It has two minifigures and several basic bricks which can build a “Wind Mill”. I would especially recommend it for children. The models are beautiful and can easily be built.















I really like the "Windmill". It looks good and its fun to play with it. The front part with the four blue plates really rotates. Very detailed for such a small building. This was my first favorite Lego structure when i was young. I spent countless of hours playing this set before.
